DESCRIPTION
Makers & Methods is a group at Austin Community College (ACC) that hosts events geared towards community building for students, local professional theater artists, and the rest of the theater community. They support current drama students by providing them with helpful community support, resources, educational direction, opportunities, and networking to help bring up the next generation of drama/theater. The events may involve workshops, conference panels, professional guest speakers, and opportunities to meet professionals in the field.

APPROACH
This was a group project when I was studying at ACC . As a group, we carefully conducted the initial intake to gather the client’s needs. We then divided and conquered. The class consisted of 4 teams in order to give the clients a variety of choices.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Their primary target audience is mostly ACC Drama majors and prospective drama students. Around 75.8% of ACC students are between the ages of 18-29, with 57.1% being women and 42.9% being men. The secondary audience is community theater professionals that might be interested in sharing their knowledge with drama students.
